- 1 fully cooked ham (about 8–10 lbs)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Mix the glaze by combining brown sugar, honey, orange juice, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, and orange zest in a bowl until smooth.
- Prepare the ham by placing it in a roasting pan and scoring the surface in a diamond pattern.
- Coat the ham generously with the glaze using a basting brush.
- Cover it loosely with aluminum foil to trap moisture.
- Bake for about 90 to 120 minutes, basting every 30 minutes.
- Caramelize the glaze by removing the foil for the last 30 minutes of baking.
- Rest the ham for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
