Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and slice the onions into thick rings, separating the layers.
- In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each onion ring with the cheese mixture.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each stuffed onion ring in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Carefully place the onion rings in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
