- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides.
- Place the rolled pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the melted butter over the tops of the pillows.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with additional parmesan sauce if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add herbs like thyme or rosemary to the filling.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
