Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add rice and stir to coat with the garlic and oil.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is cooked.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  9. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and mix well.
  10. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
  • Can substitute chicken with shrimp for a seafood variation.
