Ingredients

- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add rice and stir to coat with the garlic and oil.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is cooked.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Can substitute chicken with shrimp for a seafood variation.
- Make sure to use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
