Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix garlic, olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
  5. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the garlic sauce by mixing yogurt, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a bowl.
  6. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
  7. Serve the sliced chicken in pita bread, drizzled with garlic sauce and topped with fresh vegetables.
