- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package of wonton wrappers
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Let the shrimp marinate for 15 minutes.
- While the shrimp is marinating, place wonton wrappers in a muffin tin to form cups.
- Bake the wonton cups for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cook the marinated shrimp in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until pink and cooked through.
- Fill each wonton cup with cooked shrimp and garnish with fresh cilantro.
Notes
- For extra heat, add diced jalapeños to the shrimp mixture.
- These cups can be prepared ahead of time; just assemble before serving.
- Serve with a side of avocado or mango salsa for added flavor.
