A quick and easy recipe for Chinese Beef and Broccoli that can be made in one pan, perfect for a take-out style meal at home.

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for another minute.
- Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the dish and toss to combine.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute the beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein.
- Make sure not to overcook the broccoli to retain its vibrant color and crunch.
