  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Add the sliced onions, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the onions are translucent.
  5. Add water to the skillet and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
