Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine dry ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate eggs: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Blend dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Scoop onto ungreased baking sheets, placing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, until the edges turn golden brown.
- Cool: Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
