Ingredients

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the cooked sausage evenly on the bottom.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage.
  6. Top with tater tots, arranging them evenly over the egg mixture.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the tater tots.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the tater tots are golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
