Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  2. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Add the seafood stock and Old Bay seasoning, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in the crab meat and shrimp, cooking until shrimp are pink.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and let it heat through without boiling.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
