- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound crab meat
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, then add crab meat and mix well.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella, and Italian seasoning; season with salt and pepper.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of the seafood mixture, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture, and then a layer of lasagna noodles.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of noodles topped with heavy cream and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the seafood mixture.
- Can substitute crab meat with lobster for a more luxurious dish.
- Make sure to drain excess liquid from the seafood to avoid a watery lasagna.
