Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, pressed and drained
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the tofu into slices and marinate in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat and add the marinated tofu slices.
  4. Cook the tofu until golden and crispy on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, layer the cooked rice, followed by the crispy tofu, and top with sliced avocado.
  6. Drizzle with additional teriyaki sauce and garnish with green onions.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crunch, you can bake the tofu instead of frying.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like cucumber or carrots for added texture.
