- 2 cups broccoli florets, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), and prep your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Combine the cooked and chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, eggs, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl. Stir until everything is thoroughly mixed.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball for even cooking.
- Place the shaped broccoli balls on the prepared baking sheet, giving them space to crisp up.
- Pop them into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve the broccoli balls warm and enjoy!
Notes
You can prepare the mixture ahead of time and refrigerate. These can also be frozen uncooked for convenience.
