Deliciously crispy Easy Cheesy Broccoli Balls packed with flavor and nutrition, perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), and prep your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Combine the cooked and chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, eggs, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl. Stir until everything is thoroughly mixed.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball for even cooking.
  4. Place the shaped broccoli balls on the prepared baking sheet, giving them space to crisp up.
  5. Pop them into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve the broccoli balls warm and enjoy!
