Description

A quick and flavorful dinner featuring tender steak bites seared with garlic and butter, served with zucchini for added texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Steak: Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels, then season them generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the Skillet: Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  3. Sear the Steak: Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Sear each side for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Create the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic once it melts.
  5. Add Zucchini: Stir in the zucchini and let it cook for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Combine It All: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss together.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top and serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to substitute steak with chicken or tofu for a vegetarian option and use other vegetables like bell peppers.
