Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy—about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
- Combine brown sugar with remaining cinnamon and chopped nuts for the topping.
- Spread half of the batter in the prepared pan, sprinkle half of the crumble topping, then layer with the remaining batter and topping.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
