Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- If using, add chocolate chips during the last few minutes of churning.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
