- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
- 2 1/2 teaspoons gelatin powder
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, honey, and dried lavender. Heat over medium heat until just simmering.
- Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Strain the cream mixture to remove lavender buds and return it to the saucepan.
- Add the bloomed gelatin and vanilla extract to the warm cream mixture, stirring until dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Serve chilled, optionally garnished with fresh lavender or honey.
