- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center.
- Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
