Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced sirloin steak or shaved beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • Toothpicks, for securing
  • Optional: fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add bell pepper and onion, sautéing for 5–6 minutes until softened.
  4. Season the sliced beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Lay out each slice of beef flat on a surface.
  6. Roll tightly with a portion of sautéed peppers and onions and half a slice of provolone cheese, securing with a toothpick.
  7. Place roll-ups in a baking dish.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the beef is cooked and cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley or chives if desired, and serve warm.
