- 1 lb thinly sliced sirloin steak or shaved beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- Toothpicks, for securing
- Optional: fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add bell pepper and onion, sautéing for 5–6 minutes until softened.
- Season the sliced beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Lay out each slice of beef flat on a surface.
- Roll tightly with a portion of sautéed peppers and onions and half a slice of provolone cheese, securing with a toothpick.
- Place roll-ups in a baking dish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the beef is cooked and cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley or chives if desired, and serve warm.
