Description

Delightful bite-sized pancakes filled with savory sausage and melted cheese, drizzled with maple syrup.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Hungry Jack Pancake Mix
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink.
  3. Prepare the pancake batter by mixing pancake mix and water, then fold in the sausage, cheese, and maple syrup.
  4. Fill the muffin cups three-quarters full with batter.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with extra maple syrup.

Notes

Customize with different cheeses or add jalapeños for heat. Make-ahead batter can be stored in the fridge.
