Description

Delicious mini heart-shaped cherry hand pies that are perfect for any occasion, especially for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 can of cherry pie filling
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
  3. Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of half of the heart shapes.
  4. Top with the remaining heart shapes and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool before serving.
