Delicious mini heart-shaped cherry hand pies that are perfect for any occasion, especially for Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients

- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 can of cherry pie filling
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon of sugar (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of half of the heart shapes.
- Top with the remaining heart shapes and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a twist, add a bit of almond extract to the cherry filling.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
