- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup icing sugar (for icing)
- 1 tablespoon water (for icing)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the plain flour and icing sugar, then add the softened butter and egg yolk. Combine until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into a tart tin and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- In another bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk, softened butter, and cocoa powder until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the baked tart shell and let it cool.
- For the icing, mix icing sugar, water, and vanilla extract until smooth. Divide the icing and color half with cocoa powder.
- Spread the white icing over half of the tart and the chocolate icing over the other half.
- Let the icing set before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the tart shell is completely cooled before adding the filling.
- You can adjust the sweetness of the filling by adding more or less icing sugar.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
