Orange chicken wings with sriracha candied bacon for a tasty twist!

Description

A delicious twist on traditional chicken wings, featuring a sweet and spicy glaze made with orange and sriracha, complemented by crispy candied bacon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Marinate the chicken wings in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. While the wings are marinating, cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  5. In the same skillet, add brown sugar and sriracha, stirring until melted and combined.
  6. Coat the marinated wings in the glaze and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
  8. Once cooked, sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of the wings before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more sriracha to the marinade.
  • Serve with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
  • These wings can be grilled instead of baked for a smoky flavor.
