Description
A delicious twist on traditional chicken wings, featuring a sweet and spicy glaze made with orange and sriracha, complemented by crispy candied bacon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Marinate the chicken wings in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- While the wings are marinating, cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and crumble.
- In the same skillet, add brown sugar and sriracha, stirring until melted and combined.
- Coat the marinated wings in the glaze and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Once cooked, sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of the wings before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more sriracha to the marinade.
- Serve with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
- These wings can be grilled instead of baked for a smoky flavor.
