Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, orange juice, and sugar.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
- Add the orange zest, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves, stirring to combine.
- If using, stir in the chopped walnuts.
- Remove from heat and let it cool before serving.
Notes
- This chutney can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
- It pairs well with turkey, ham, or as a spread on sandwiches.
