Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Pour the peach mixture over the batter, do not stir.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
