Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  4. Cut the puff pastry into strips.
  5. Place a spoonful of the pumpkin mixture on one end of each strip.
  6. Fold the pastry over and twist to seal the filling inside.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
