Description

A delicious and indulgent dessert combining the flavors of salted caramel and OREO cookies in a creamy ice cream cake.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of OREO cookies
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 quart of vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 cup of salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush the OREO cookies and mix with melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. Spread the softened vanilla ice cream over the cooled crust.
  6. Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the ice cream.
  7. Freeze the cake for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  8. Once firm, spread whipped cream on top and drizzle with remaining caramel sauce.
  9. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired.
  10. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla.
  • Make sure the ice cream is softened for easier spreading.
  • Allow the cake to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing for easier serving.
