- 1 active sourdough starter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 cup everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Stir together the active sourdough starter, all-purpose flour, warm water, and salt in a large mixing bowl until a shaggy dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about 4 hours until doubled in size.
- Deflate the dough gently, shape it into a round loaf, and let it rest for an additional 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Transfer the shaped loaf onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
