  • 1/4 cup everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Stir together the active sourdough starter, all-purpose flour, warm water, and salt in a large mixing bowl until a shaggy dough forms.
  2. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about 4 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Deflate the dough gently, shape it into a round loaf, and let it rest for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Transfer the shaped loaf onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
