- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the sauce.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni, shrimp, and crab meat to the cheese sauce; mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use any seafood of your choice.
- For a spicier kick, add some cayenne pepper to the cheese sauce.
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
