- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry. Stir into the slow cooker to thicken the gravy.
- Serve the meatballs with the gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can sauté onions and garlic before adding them to the meat mixture.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
