Description

Spicy Crab Nachos are a delicious and indulgent appetizer featuring crispy tortilla chips topped with a spicy crab mixture, melted cheese, and fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the crab meat with hot sauce, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a baking sheet.
  4. Top the chips with the crab mixture and shredded cheese.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, jalapeños, green onions, and tomatoes.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more jalapeños or a spicier hot sauce.
  • Can substitute crab meat with shrimp or chicken if desired.
  • Best served fresh out of the oven.
