Description

A refreshing and delicious strawberry sorbet, perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
  4. Add the cooled sugar syrup and lemon juice to the blender and blend until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours.
  6. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals until fully frozen.
  7. Once frozen, scoop and serve the sorbet in bowls.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, you can blend the sorbet again before serving.
  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your taste.
