Description
A refreshing and delicious strawberry sorbet, perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
- Add the cooled sugar syrup and lemon juice to the blender and blend until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours.
- Stir the mixture every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals until fully frozen.
- Once frozen, scoop and serve the sorbet in bowls.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, you can blend the sorbet again before serving.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your taste.
