Description

A comforting and creamy casserole made with tuna, egg noodles, and topped with a crunchy breadcrumb layer.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the egg noodles until al dente, then drain.
  3. Combine the cooked noodles with tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, peas, and cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the casserole.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
