- 1 package of pizza dough
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup vegan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add sliced onions. Cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the onion and spinach mixture on each rectangle and sprinkle with vegan cheese if using.
- Roll up the dough and seal the edges.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs like oregano or basil to the filling.
- These rolls can be frozen before baking for later use.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
