Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour and baking powder in a large bowl.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and buttermilk, stirring gently until combined.
  4. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead a few times.
  5. Roll the dough out to about 1-inch thickness.
  6. Use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut out biscuits, pressing straight down without twisting.
  7. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet close together.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
