- 2 cans (15 oz each) Del Monte Sliced Peaches in Heavy Syrup
- 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, sliced into very thin squares
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the two cans of Del Monte sliced peaches, including the syrup, into your 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the entire box of dry Betty Crocker yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches. Do not stir!
- Arrange the thin slices of butter across the cake mix surface.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden and the peaches are bubbling.
Notes
For a lighter option, you can use unsweetened applesauce instead of butter. Make-ahead: You can prepare a day in advance and refrigerate before baking.
