A simple and delightful dessert that combines juicy peaches and a buttery cake mix for a nostalgic treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) Del Monte Sliced Peaches in Heavy Syrup
  • 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, sliced into very thin squares

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the two cans of Del Monte sliced peaches, including the syrup, into your 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the entire box of dry Betty Crocker yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches. Do not stir!
  4. Arrange the thin slices of butter across the cake mix surface.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden and the peaches are bubbling.

Notes

For a lighter option, you can use unsweetened applesauce instead of butter. Make-ahead: You can prepare a day in advance and refrigerate before baking.
