- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Combine the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Mix well and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
- Incorporate the marinated beef to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Drizzle in the oyster sauce and stir everything together, ensuring that every piece is coated.
- Serve hot over a bed of steaming cooked rice.
Notes
For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes during cooking. Marinate the beef the night before for deeper flavors.
