Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Mix well and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
  4. Incorporate the marinated beef to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  5. Toss in the broccoli florets and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Drizzle in the oyster sauce and stir everything together, ensuring that every piece is coated.
  7. Serve hot over a bed of steaming cooked rice.

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes during cooking. Marinate the beef the night before for deeper flavors.
