Ingredients

  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the sesame oil and let it heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the ground beef, spreading it evenly. Cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes. Then stir occasionally until fully cooked, around 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Introduce the sliced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage, bell peppers, and carrots. Sauté, tossing frequently for about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and stir well to coat evenly. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Allow everything to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
