- 1 pound carne asada
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Cook the carne asada seasoned with salt and pepper until beautifully browned (about 5–7 minutes). Let it rest off the heat.
- Warm the flour tortillas in a separate pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
- Layer refried beans, rice, carne asada, shredded cheese, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream on each tortilla.
- Roll the burrito tightly from the bottom up, folding in the sides to enclose the fillings.
- Serve with additional salsa or sour cream if desired.
Notes
Allow the carne asada to rest for juiciness. Warm tortillas to prevent tearing.
