- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Combine the cooked beef, rice, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and mixed vegetables in a large bowl. Stir until mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For make-ahead convenience, assemble the casserole a day in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake.
