- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup jalapeños, diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, blend the flour, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, diced jalapeños, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into bite-sized strips or squares using a knife or cookie cutter.
- Shape each piece into a log, tucking in the ends to seal them.
- Arrange the rolled pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until they turn golden brown.
- Let cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
These rolls can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For a quicker cooking option, try the air fryer method.
