Description

Deliciously cheesy rolls filled with jalapeños, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup jalapeños, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, blend the flour, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, diced jalapeños, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Cut the dough into bite-sized strips or squares using a knife or cookie cutter.
  5. Shape each piece into a log, tucking in the ends to seal them.
  6. Arrange the rolled pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until they turn golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

These rolls can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For a quicker cooking option, try the air fryer method.
