Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, draining excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water, stirring and simmering for about 5 minutes.
  4. Combine cream cheese and sour cream in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  5. Layer the seasoned beef in a casserole dish, spreading the cream cheese mixture on top.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and optional vegetables.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
