Description

Delicious cheesy stuffed mushrooms with garlic and herbs, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully remove the stems from the mushrooms and finely chop them. Set the caps aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped mushroom stems. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft.
  4. Combine the sautéed mixture with breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  5. Generously stuff each mushroom cap with the cheesy mixture.
  6. Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet, giving them space to breathe.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a make-ahead option, prepare the stuffing a day before and store it in the fridge. Stuff the mushrooms just before baking for freshness.
