Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar in a large bowl using an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
  4. Combine the sour cream and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.
  7. Prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture by mixing the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  8. Layer half of the batter into the pan, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over it, followed by the remaining batter and the rest of the streusel mix.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
