Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cream together the butter and sugar in a large bowl using an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
- Combine the sour cream and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.
- Prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture by mixing the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Layer half of the batter into the pan, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over it, followed by the remaining batter and the rest of the streusel mix.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
