- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup melted white chocolate
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter, softened (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Heat the milk and melted butter gently until warm.
- Pour the warm milk mixture into the dry ingredients and stir.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
- Spread softened butter over the dough, sprinkle with cinnamon and pistachios, then drizzle with melted chocolate.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into slices.
- Place the slices in the greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk for the glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
These rolls can be customized with different nuts or chocolate types. For make-ahead, prepare dough a day in advance and refrigerate overnight.
