Instructions
- Slice the onion into petal-like cuts, stopping just short of the root.
- Soak the onion in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the coating by whisking flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt together.
- Dredge the soaked onion in the flour mixture.
- Double-Coat the onion in buttermilk then breadcrumbs.
- Spray the coated onion lightly with oil.
- Air Fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve with your choice of creamy dip and enjoy!
