- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 cups cooked pasta
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Brown the meat: In a skillet, heat over medium-high. Add ground beef, chopped onions, and minced garlic. Sauté until the beef is browned and the onions are tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cooked beef mixture, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, cooked pasta, bell peppers, mushrooms, and half of the mozzarella cheese until well blended.
- Layer in the crockpot: Pour the mixture into your crockpot. Add the remaining mozzarella cheese and layer pepperoni on top.
- Cook: Cover the crockpot and set it on low, cooking for 4 to 6 hours until the cheese bubbles.
- Serve: Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot, and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a dash of red pepper flakes. You can prep the beef and veggies the night before.
