- 1 cup deli meat (ham, turkey, or chicken), chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Optional: chopped fresh herbs (parsley or chives) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth in a large bowl.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Layer the torn croissants in the dish, followed by the chopped deli meat and shredded cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants, gently pressing them to soak.
- Let the casserole sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb the mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and the egg is set.
- Allow to cool slightly, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.
