Description

A delightful dump cake that combines luscious strawberry filling, a moist cake base, and a crunchy Fruity Pebbles topping for a vibrant dessert experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (21 oz each) Comstock Strawberry Pie Filling
  • 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist White Cake Mix
  • 1.5 sticks Land O Lakes Butter (sliced into very thin pats)
  • 2 cups Post Fruity Pebbles Cereal

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 glass baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Drain the juice from the strawberry pie filling and dump both cans into the prepared dish, spreading evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the white cake mix evenly over the strawberry layer.
  4. Distribute the slices of butter evenly across the top.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown, then add the Fruity Pebbles on top, pressing down lightly.
  6. Bake for an additional 5 minutes to toast the cereal.

Notes

For a tropical twist, substitute strawberry filling with pineapple or mango, and consider using coconut instead of Fruity Pebbles. You can also prepare the layers the night before and assemble the following day.
